Learn About Our Story

I was born and raised in Quincy Illinois going to both Saint Dominic’s and Quincy Notre Dame for school. I spent ten years at GameMasters wearing many hats including being the archery manager, buyer, event coordinator, marketing manager and eBay sales.

After that I spent one year chasing my dream of guiding deer hunts but unfortunately realized that wasn’t my calling. At the tail end of my guiding journey I got into woodworking making cutting boards and realized real fast the only way to sell a cutting board was to have it personalized and because of one cutting board Muddy River Engraving was born.

While I don’t make cutting boards anymore I still engrave them but I’m known for my custom hats, tumblers, leather koozies, glassware and setting up at pop up events and customizing items on site!
